A partial denture is a removable dental appliance used to replace one or more missing teeth. Typically making a partial will take 2-3 appointments. At the first appointment we will take an impression that we send to the lab. We will also record the colour of your remaining teeth so that we can match it to the colour of the partial teeth. At the second appointment we will ensure the partial fits properly and the colour and tooth shape are correct, before it returns to the lab for final processing. At the third appointment you will wear it home. You may require minor adjustments over the next few days/weeks as you adjust to chewing with it in your mouth.
